Humanitarian Projects

We opened a project at Krichyevsky Boarding House for Patients with Psychological Disorders. They house over 160 patients and only had one washing maching that leaks all over the floor during the wash cycle.

We closed a project at this Retirement Home where the church donated 25 bed and mattresses, and a electric stove.

When she saw her picture she said, "Oh I look so pretty."

This women is over 90 years old.

This Babushkas were so fun to talk to. They just keep talking, and talking, and I kept smiling and smiling. Their ages--84, 81, and 88 years old.

She kept following us around because we forgot to take her pictures. The manager of the Home (also in the pictures) told us she keeps waiting for her sister to come and take her home--but I guess that isn't going to happen. We were glad to take her picture, which made her day.

Emphriam Salanovichi was liberated from a German Concentration camp by American soldiers after World War II. She said, " I will never forget that day."

I noticed that everyone is wearing their coats. Is it cold inside? Do they have heat?

I just realized that you are not the only woman wearing a dress. Even as a missionary you fit right in. Do the older women ever wear pants?
