More Moscow

We went with some of the couples serving in Russia to buy souvenirs on Ashbash Street. We saw some things we recognized.

There are some interesting places to make a wish. If you give this lady money she will make your wish come true.

I was surprised how full her plate was.

It is said that if you stand on this square and throw money over your shoulder your wish will come true. The sad thing is the money hardly touches the ground before a poor Babushka is collecting the coins.

They should come up with more of those "money over your shoulder" places to help out those sweet little ladies. Tourists will fall for anything!

I stopped by to check on the two of you today and was pleased to see that you look great, happy, and busy. Your adventures are so alluring and I appreciate that you will share them.
I don't know if you have heard that Pete Genther, LeAnn's dad, passed away this week and his funeral was held yesterday. It was a fitting tribute for such a loving man. It will be very hard on LeAnn since she and her dad were such good friends. She spent treasured times with he and Pauline laughing, serving, and loving them. All of the Geiser children were home for the services and it was fun to see them. They are an excellent example of a loving family, all of the Genther children included. How blessed we are to have the knowledge of eternal families and the faith to work towards that!
It is turning cold in Rexburg and frost has taken it's toll on our little garden and leaves on the trees. If winter wasn't so long it would be easier to look forward happily to the changing of the seasons.
Keep up the good work. God Bless.
