The church donated bed, mattresses, wardrobe closets, chairs, and night stand to the Orsha Boarding House for Elderly and Invalids. The little "grandmas" were so appreciative of their new comfortable beds. They just wanted to talk. Past "how are you" and "what's your name" I couldn't say a thing or understand what they were saying--but that's OK. A smile and a nod seems to work just great.

Oh how I wish they could tell me the story of their lives. The director said they come from some pretty difficult circumstances and the boarding house is a blessing in their lives. They are always so excited to have visitors and especially someone from America.

You are so so kind and loving! What a great lady!
They just look so sweet.
They must be doing something right to live that long has they have with what all has went on in their life. Europe has seen a lot of war in the last 100 years.
Deanna I still want to see you in one of those scarfs. Is there a certain age before you can wear them?
