Thanksgiving in Belarus

The Roses invited us to their home for Thanksgiving dinner.

She set a beautiful table and I loved her fall decorations.

And of course there were children...Marion's dress-up shoes.

Great company...young volunteers,

Katherine and Orion Rose,

Eric and Joy Rose,

Teresa and her mom, (her husband is Russian and works for Coca-Cola)

and Chris who is in charge of security at the Embassy. She also had a horse we were able to help feed. Of course Max enjoyed that part.

There were 5 people from the Embassy, 6 people in her friend's family that works for Coca-Cola, six missionaries, and the 5 members of the Rose Family. It was very nice of her to provide for us a good old traditional American Thanksgiving. We even had the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV in the background. No Football as the games, because of the time difference, didn't start until it was time for us to go home to bed.

I am so glad you had a good Thanksgiving with nice people to spend it with. Next year, my house?

That looks like an amazing Thanksgiving Dinner. I am glad to see you could have the feel of Thanksgiving in Russia.

Looks like a typical Thanksgiving. So nice to have the American tradition even in a foreign country. Just think next year you will be at home with your own family. Wow time is going fast. Does it seem like that to you?
