We still see Lenin every where we go. It was funny in one town his statue was pointing directly at a church--like he was saying, "go to church" when his policy was the exact opposite. I wondered what that church was used for during Soviet times.

I wonder if the person who placed that statue had a sense of humor.
You will get better pictures out the side window if you travel when it's not raining. That picture of the tree on the house reminded me I should get home and see how the trees and our house are getting along. The good news is that Tonya stayed at the house last night and was going to turn the heat on.
There is a little statue of Leonardo Di Vinci pointing off into the distance outside of our library and Hannah says he is saying "Go to church!"
I like it when Sergei stops to let you take pictures! :)
