So you don't think we just played the whole time we were in Moscow I wanted to post pictures of the real reason we went there. There was a Priesthood training for all the branch presidencies in the Russia West Mission. The Sisters spent the day preparing the food for their noon meal and snacks during the meeting. On Monday we had training on what senior couples can do to further the missionary work. There were three couples from cities in Russia, us from Belarus, and one couple clear from Kazakhstan, a country close to China. This mission is really spread out and coveres a lot of miles. The poor mission president and his wife are constantly traveling to visit the cities he is responsible for and where his missionaries are laboring. He lives and has his office in Moscow, but the only missionaries in that city that are part of his mission are the Assistants to the President. He has now called two missionaries that will serve in the office, one of which just finished serving here in Belarus. Elder Millett was a great missionary and we will miss him here. We enjoyed spending time, visiting with, comparing mission stories, talking about the United States with other senior couples. We don't get a chance to do that in Belarus as we are the only senior couple serving here.

Elder and Sister Rasmussen, office couples that are in the process of moving to Tula where they will serve as leadership couple for the small branch there.

The branch presidencies of the Russia West Mission.

The Sister that prepared and served the food.

Elder and Sister Lowry that were kind enough to show us around Moscow.

Always fun to see the people you are serving with. Where are the Burtons?

The Burtons are humanitarian and were not involved with this conference. This was missionary work. Since we are the only ones in Belarus our assignment is dvided between the two.

I bet it was good to speak and hear English with a few different people.

Deanna you look like one of the youngest missionaries in that group.
