Thursday after opening a humanitarian project in the Minsk Region (which is the country side around the city) Sergei drove down this long dirt road back into the forest where a young man is starting a new business giving riding lessons and taking people on trail rides. He will pick you up in town, take you to his ranch, and then let you ride for 1 hours or two day--depending upon what you want and willing to pay for. He has a long ways to go to have everything done--but he has a good idea and a beautiful place to take people on rides. He worked in Wisconsin with horses and then came home to start his own business. He speaks very good English and really loved his horses. Max felt right at home walking through the barn.
Notice there is not a saddle horn. I told him that Max teamed roped and he said, "sorry I do not have cows!" But it would be hard to do without a saddle horn anyway.

Leave it to Dad to find a place to ride!
I am sure Max will have a great time when you can go back and ride. Will he have to wear his suit to ride?
That man is at home with horses...suit and tie or not! :)
