Closing a Project in Brest Region

We closed a project in the Kossovsky Boarding House, Syenkovichi village, Bryest Region. The church provided a 25 Kilo dryer, a large potato peeler, and a commerical size frying pan. The people were so appreciative of the help and presented us with a certificate. It is just so nice to know we are doing a little bit to help. The staff at these facilities are caring people that want to do what is best for those they are responsible for. Most of the residents have had hard lives and come from sad circumstances. We feel it a real blessing to be able to provide the equipment they need to make caring for these elderly and handicapped people at little easier. I personally love closing projects because we can actually see where some good has been accomplished. I especially enjoy visiting with the little grandmas--they love to talk. I only wish I could understand what they are saying. I've learn to ask, "What is you name?" and "How are you?" That last question will usually getting a long response, which I enjoy because they love to have someone listen to them. I can listen even if I can't understand!!

Picking berries they grow on the property around the boarding House.

Vayla took this photo while we were inside checking out the new equipment. I not sure is she said smile or what!!

They residents also help in the harvesting of the hay.

Amazing, you seem to be doing so much for the people there.

I love that expression too. I think you could make a greeting card out of that. So funny!

Do the ladies wear scarfs all the time, even in the house?
