Parting Shots

I don't usually post on Saturday, but there were a few more interesting pictures from Armenia I wanted to share.

Something very gross looking for sale in the open market.

I still like to take pictures of beautiful flowers.

This was how our meat was served at the Old Yerevan Restaurant. It was covered with this thin layer of bread they wrap around meat and vegetables. The meat was served on skewers.

Our guide lighting a candle at Hripsimeh Church.

Mt Ararat where Noah's Ark landed. (Be sure and show the grand kids.)
The open markets sell all kinds of carved figures of Noah's Ark--actually they were pretty neat.

Those are "crawfish" for sale. I had a meal of those in Galveston in a very nice (expensive) restaurant. They had "fresh crawfish" advertised in the window and I had never eaten them before so we went in and I had some. They were very good. Nina chickened out and had fish. The guy next to us said they were "red neck lobster". He was from Mississippi. Me eating those things was quite a sight.

Rodney you are brave to eat those. Good picture Deanna. I don't think I could try them either.
