The city has really added some color to our walks now. They are getting ready for their big celebration this week-end honoring the veterans that fought in World War II. Belarus was a country caught in the middle with a lot of people getting killed. But the city of Minsk did not fall to the enemy and the celebration is in remembrance of those soldiers who fought and died for freedom.
Isn't this a fun road side sign--shaped like a lap top computer. It is 25 degree centrigrade, which felt just right.
I thought these flags were so neat blowing in the wind.

We just visited a holocaust museum in DC and it is unbelievable what people suffered during WWII. What a nice way to remember those who served.
I love the colors. I wish I had more flowers like that in my garden. :)
The colors are beautiful. I like the sound of the language in the back ground of the video
That is beautiful! Inspiration for a quilt I think!
I love that young man in the white t-shirt, closest to the monument. That's my little brother. I was so excited to receive his email with your blog address this morning. I hope you don't mind me visiting your blog often. In a way, it makes me feel closer to my brother.
