Our road trip this last week was to the Byest Region where we closed three projects. At one boarding house we provided a centrifuge (which spins water out of the washed clothes) and a refrigerator. We took a tour of their facility. They showed us the machine the use to dry their towels. The two fabric covered wheels are heated and the women keep feeding the towel over and over again their the middle of the wheels until they are dry. I've never seen anything like it. They only had one commercial dryer and they do 600 Kilos of clothes everyday. I'm not sure how much that is--but they said it was way too much for their one dryer. Thus they were excited to have this machine to dry towels with.

You don't say with the same old thing day after day, do you?
I'm glad to see a picture. I was a little confused about it. We are so blessed with our dryers!
I didn't understand until I saw the picture too. I am so very thankful for a nice washer and dryer.
It's amazing how much I take for granted.
Holy Kamoly! I keep complaining that our towels don't dry in one cycle in the dryer! Your posts always help me remember to be grateful for what I havE!
Looks a little bit like the old wringer washers that would take the water out of clothes. Do they ever get their fingers caught?
