Part of my job is to interview the people who receive wheel chairs at the distribution ceremonies. Brother Gills is serving as the interpreter.
This man is 90 years old and a veteran of World War II fighting with the Soviet Army. He lives on the 8th floor in a complex without an elevator. His daughter lives with him and his wife providing the care they need. The wheel chair will allow him to move around in the apartment on his own. This country is very proud of their veterans and take very good care of them.
This lady was 36 years old and has been in a wheel chair all of her life. She suffers from Cerebral Palsy and her mom is her only care giver. The chair will really help the mother in caring for her daughter.
