Time with Grandkids: Priceless

We spent a few days in Price tending Kenzie, Courtney, and Hayden. It was fun getting to know them better. Their parents were in SLC at a convention.

Hayden definatedly has his own unique style!!

What's in the Box?

Corbin knows there is something in the box and he going to get it out--even if he has to pound it open!!

Ignore the foot!!!

Closer to Reality

We finally bought suitcases to take on our mission. Max's
are the black one and mine are the red ones. I wanted to be

to pick them out at the airport!! When I think of going to a foreign

country for 18 months and only being able to take what will fit into those

two suitcases--it's mind boggling. (Is that such a word?)

Shopping Spree

Went shopping with Angie and her kids and while she looked at shoes I observed Makayla and Corbin trying to figure out what this contraption was used for.

With a little direction from Grandma Kayla tried it out.

Makayla decided she need to take them away from Corbin because "they are not toys."

I just had fun watching and of course taking pictures.

Linda

Linda's husband passed away Sept 8, 1948. We attended the funeral in Shelley Saturday. They were living in Missouri at the time of his death. He was only 60 years old.

A lot of the family were able to be there to support here. It was a nice tribute to a good man that has raised a good family.

The four remaining brothers. Billy, Lester, Max, and Rex.

Finished Projects

This is the November Door Doodle. I can't believe I've made one of these for each month of the year. (Don't ask me why the word Gobble is done in white on a white background).

A close up showing a little more detail.

This is a video because my camera was set wrong and it's the only shot I didn't delete. (It's hard to be me sometimes.)

Tagged

I was tagged by Angie and after she explained to me what was meant by 4th folder I found this picture. Isn't it interested that it was from Angie's wedding. Don't those girls look so cute in their pink dresses. That was a fun night!!

Another fun Wednesday Afternoon

I'm so lucky to be able to have Travis' kids come over for a couple of hours on Wednesday. Alex hadn't come yet and Dawson was asleep in the back bedroom. Libby and Preslee were playing some games.

Night to Remember

The group that went to Germany had a little "Night To Remember." The Pincocks made each one of us the neatest video of different slides from the whole group set to some pretty fun music. We ate a lot of bananas on the trip so of course we ate them this night also. Gary and Trish Archibald had some apple strudel sent from Germany (on dry ice) which they served with vanilla sauce. It brought back all kinds of fun memories.

Squares + Squares = Quilts

My lastest humanitarian quilt top.

A quilt top called Around the World which I will probably save for a gift when my first grand child gets married. Is that looking too far ahead? I just know how slow I am so I have to get an early start and with 14 grand kids under 10 years old I have a feeling when it starts it may happen all at once.

Is that Russian????

We've been spending a lot of time trying to learn Russian. I find that I can read it what it says much easier that I can speak it. Definatedly more goes out of my head than is staying there. Again we're hoping for the gift of tongues!!!

Halloween Fun

Some very scary spooks at a neighbors spook Alley!!

Their whole house was decorated and the witched served brain soup, which was mighty tasty!!

Some very cute spooks!!! They took me to the spook alley with them. Notice the flip flops. It was warm enough that night to wear them. The Truck or Treat was especially fun because it was so warm the kids didn't have to buddle up in coats so you could actually see everyone's costumes.
